June 13th”Moneyball” kicks off our 8th Season at 8:30 pm
Moneyball
directed by Bennett Miller
Based on the book by Michael Lewis, the film is an account of the Oakland Athletics 2002 Season and their general managers attempts to assemble a competitive team. Starring Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill and Philip Seymour Hoffman, the film was nominated for six Academy Awards including Best Actor and Best Picture in 2012.

Ready, Set…Almost Action!
Hello All!!
We are so excited to start up our summer season. It’s June and we’re almost ready for action. We need to finalize a few more titles and we promise, the schedule will be posted next week. We are excited this year to be sponsored by Jersey City Medical Center and Silverman-Building Neighborhoods–without their generous contributions we would not have been here this summer!!

It feels like summer this week in Jersey City!! Spring is officially here and we know what comes after Spring…Films in Van Vorst!
We are putting together our line up and are still looking for suggestions. Got a classic you think would be perfect in the park? How about a documentary that you’ve seen that you can’t stop thinking about. Are your children singing songs from a Disney film? Let us know
